An appreciation of microbiology and molecular biology

The course content is aimed at industrial research and process development chemists interested in white biotechnology; using microorganisms and enzymes to produce commercially valuable compounds. The aim of the course is to deliver the key theoretical and practical knowledge regarding microbiology (growing and using microorganisms) and molecular biology (exploiting and enhancing the genes and enzymes from microorganisms).
